Genix is a UK DJ, producer and mix engineer known for tight, club-ready records and sharp production instincts. Rising through Anjunabeats, he’s built a strong catalogue including 199X and Rave Daze, pushing a darker, more technical sound that lands on big stages worldwide.
As a mentor, he brings that same level of experience into helping producers refine and finish tracks to a proper release standard.
Every Production and engineering project starts with a Track Assessment with Genix. This can be booked as a standalone feedback service, or continue into full production and engineering support if the track is ready to move forward. If you go ahead with the full service, the assessment fee is deducted from the final cost.
Before booking any Production & Engineering sessions, you need to first book a track assessment. From there, he’ll work out what the track needs to get it to a proper label-ready level, along with how many studio days will be needed to make it finished label ready track. You can then book your track in.
Work 1-on-1 with Genix online in online sessions with one or two hours each session. Focus on your track, fixing issues, shaping the mix, and getting it finished to a proper standard. No track assessment is needed for this service. These are offered in 4 week blocks of either 1 hour per week or 2 hours per week
Not quite. PTM services are aimed at people who already make music and just need that final polish to get their productions and mix engineering to a release-ready level. If you think you’re ready to proceed, then you need to book a track assessment, after which the producer will decide whether they wish to proceed and, in turn, will offer you the opportunity to make a booking (for however long they require).
This assessment is a paid, non-refundable service, but you will receive a written report outlining the reason the producer wasn’t able to move things forward, with production and engineering guidelines.
Genix primarily works in most areas of EDM. That includes house, progressive house, deep house and trance music.
Genix uses Logic Pro and Ableton. In general most people should supply their tracks as audio stems and MIDI parts, however in rare cases the producer may accept (complete) project files in a given DAW format.
We’ll try to reschedule first. If that’s not possible, you’ll need to give at least 48 hours’ notice or you’ll lose your deposit
